Product Overview

Reinforced TPO waterproof membrane is a heat-weldable single-ply waterproofing sheet made of thermoplastic polyolefin resin with embedded polyester reinforcement. Compared with homogeneous TPO sheets, the reinforced structure delivers improved tensile strength, tear resistance, and puncture resistance, resulting in long-term, durable waterproofing performance.

Built to withstand UV exposure, weather aging and thermal deformation, the membrane maintains stable flatness under temperature changes and resists wind uplift and light foot traffic during construction and maintenance. It is widely used for waterproofing exposed flat, metal, and concrete roofs, as well as green roof systems, in industrial and commercial buildings.

Available specifications cover thicknesses of 1.2–2.0 mm, standard roll widths of 1.0 m / 2.0 m, and roll lengths of 20 m / 25 m. Custom sizes are available per production feasibility. Product Features

1. Internal polyester reinforcement

A layer of polyester fabric grid is embedded within the membrane body during production. This internal reinforcement provides high tensile strength, tear resistance, and puncture resistance, making the membrane suitable for mechanically fastened roofing systems where wind uplift resistance is required.

2. Weather and UV resistance

The TPO base material offers resistance to weathering, ultraviolet radiation, and aging. The material remains flexible at low temperatures and maintains mechanical strength at elevated temperatures. Light-colored surfaces also reflect solar radiation.

3. Heat-weldable seams

Adjacent membrane sheets are joined by hot-air welding to form integrated seams. The sealing performance of welded joints relies on proper on-site welding workmanship and complete system detailing.

4. Dimensional stability

The internal reinforcement reduces the membrane‘s dimensional change under temperature fluctuations. This helps the membrane maintain its position and coverage during thermal cycling, reducing stress on seams and fasteners.
