Exterior Wall Construction

Cold Storage Construction

For cold storage construction, evenly apply dedicated PU adhesive and press boards tightly to minimize gaps. This avoids cold loss and condensation icing to guarantee stable constant-temperature insulation.

Cutting Requirements

Cut with electric hot wire cutters or fine-tooth saws for burr-free edges. Smooth notches ensure tight splicing and prevent insulation dead angles during installation.

Q1: What are the key differences between PU board and XPS board?

A1: PU foam board has lower thermal conductivity, higher closed-cell rate, better waterproof performance and stability than XPS with higher energy efficiency, ideal for high-standard projects, while XPS fits ordinary insulation works.

Q2: Can PU boards be used for long-term cold storage floor bearing?

A2: Standard boards are for cold storage walls and ceilings only. Custom high-compression boards or surface wear-resistant treatment is required for forklift and heavy-load floor scenarios.

Q3: Is PU board flammable? Can it reach B1 flame retardant grade?

A3: Standard board is B2 self-extinguishing. Custom B1 fire-rated grade is available, complying with GB 8624 standards with low smoke and low toxicity for standard fire safety requirements.
